Chattanooga-Los Angeles Gig Duet

LOLA, developed by researchers primarily in Italy, reduces latency such that simultaneous performances can take place across great distances.  On Saturday October 13, 2012 LOLA was used to connect legendary music producer T-Bone Burnett from a studio at the USC Thornton School of Music with country star Chuck Mead on stage at the RiverRocks Outdoor Music Festival in Chattanooga TN, a distance of about 2100 miles.
