Yadong Wang is a Lead Network Engineer with Los Nettos in the Information Technology Services division (ITS) of the University of Southern California. He has over 20 years of experience with network design, installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Prior to joining external networking, Yadong was a senior network administrator at the University of Southern California, where he helped maintain a large enterprise campus network of over 50 routers, 1,000 switches, and 4,800 wireless access points. He has extensive experience with internet protocols, networking monitoring tools, and support of research demonstrations utilizing the network. He has helped USC set up numerous demonstrations involving specialized network configurations and has been recognized in two different CENIC Innovations in Networking Awards for his work on the “Alternate Endings” and “Digital Cinema Microscopy” projects.
Yadong also worked at Cisco Systems, Inc., Digital Internet Services Corporation, and Multi-Industry Technology, Inc. after obtaining a B.S. in Radio Engineering from Bejing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
